About us

The mission of Dukinfield Congregational Church is to exalt Christ as Lord and Saviour and to accomplish the following purposes:

• To win souls for the kingdom of Christ through leading them to a personal experience of receiving Christ as Saviour and Lord.
• To help those who have received Christ to grow in love and discipline of the Lord by having an effective teaching programme which meets the needs of all who seek to learn and grow spiritually into disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.
• To comfort those who are passing through distress because of the death of loved ones, sickness, separations or divorce.
• To challenge all to be all that their God-given talents and abilities will allow.
• To have a meaningful worship experience which challenges all of God's people to be concerned about the needs of others and their relationship to God and other men and women.
• To be a witness and source of strength to those in the community by reaching out to them in love and compassion.
• To provide the opportunity for people to develop a strong prayer life through the regular prayer meetings and Bible studies and through small groups of individuals with similar needs and interests.
• To be a haven of rest for the weary and a source of strength for the weak.
• To provide an atmosphere of friendliness and fellowship for those who are lonely and need to feel wanted.
